Help with European vacation?

I am wanting to go to London and Paris next year in August with 2 friends. None of us have ever been to Europe... We would like to fly into London and stay there for 3 days and then take a train to Paris and spend 3 days there. Then we would fly back to the US from Paris. What is the best way to plan this trip? Are there any good websites/trip planners?? Any advice on how to book this trip (cheaply!) would be appreciated. Thanks!|||If you are full-time college students--look into Generation Fly, they offer GREAT discounts for students through Lufthansa Airlines.

STA Travel is also a great booking site for students.

If you are not a student, I would try lessno.com but be sure that no part of your flight-name, date, anything- will have to be changed after purchased, they charge a lot to get it changed.

|||kayak.com is pretty gud (as u may kno already book ur tickets as early as possible so u get the cheapest rates...u can also talk to a travel agent *with caution thow*)

and u can check out the eurorail.com too|||For airfare you might check out statravel.com which often has really good deals for students/people under 26.

There is so much to do in both Paris and London that you could easily fill up far more than a week in either city (in fact I'd recommend more than three days in each if you can afford it.) You might want to get a guidebook, or look up both cities on loneyplanet.com. If you're looking for cheap places to stay check out hostelworld.com or hostelbookers.com (unfortunately hotels ain't cheap in either city). On the bright side there's lots of interesting stuff to do...

Also fwiw the train from London to Paris is called the Eurostar...
