Is there some kind of bike route planner like map quest?

I'm planing on taking my bike on a long trip and I need some way to plan it. really hoping I can get some help on this.|||gmap-pedometer.com is good for basic mileage stuff, but it's based on an older version of Google maps, so some of the streets aren't up-to-date.


mapmyride.com is a favorite, and it's geared directly to cyclists with elevation maps and workout calculators.|||My favorite option is http://www.ridedog.com. It's like mapmyride, but without all the annoying ads and pressure to sign up for a premium account.

|||Another great site is http://ridewithgps.com - perfect for planning a ride. If you have a GPS unit, you can also send the ride to the unit, as well as view the recorded track from the GPS unit. However, GPS is not required, or even necessary.
