I've never ridden the metrolink before and I want to try it, but whenever I put that address into the metrolink trip planner it wants to take me to an address in glendale...|||now i hope you are not mixed up Metrolink with a metroRAIL [dont worrry a lot of people do mixed them up]
now metroRAIL is operated by Metro (same company that runs the buses) and operates
the redline, purpleline (which are subways) and Light rails (blue line, gold line, green line) are
all called metro RAIL and there is a stop at 7st (which they call 7th and metro (
that would the closest station to your address
now metrolink is more like Amtrak for commuters they operate to outlying communities
such as Oxnard. simi valley, Oceanside, San Bernandino and Riverside
into Los Angeles at Union station
also when you use the trip planner
and you have a address that could be listed more
then once(like figureoa street can be both in glendale and
los angele (its even in harbor
the planner will give you choices to which one you want
it will include the zip code for that as well
you want|||The only MetroLink stop in Downtown is Union Station. MetroLink trains don't stop anywhere else Downtown but there.
The Red Line and other light rail systems are not the same as MetroLink ... just for clarification.
