I ran the Trip Planner on the MTA site and it looks like either the Red 2 or 3 will do the trick. My question is this: From about 4PM-8PM will most of these trains there and back stop at both stations? I would hate to get on one of those skip-stop runs. Are there any skip-stops on these trains during those hours?
I hope that makes sense.|||Both the #2 and #3 train (Red Line on the subway map) stops at Park Place at all hours. Don't worry, you'll be okay.
Good luck
Native New Yorker|||New York City subways are 24-hour, with depends on how, some trains are local.
There are two ways you could do. Park Places is single platform with single track. Prospect Park and Franklin Av-bound shares track, so listen for (S) to Prospect Park.
Option 1:
Take (S) to Prospect Park.
Transfer at opposite platform for Manhattan-bound (Q) to Times Sq, 24-hour express.
1: 7th Av
2. Atlantic Av-Pacific St
3. DeKalb Av
4. Canal St
5. 14th St-Union Sq
6. 34th St-Herald Sq.
7. Times Sq-42nd St.
Option 2:
Take Prospect Park (S) to one stop Botanical Garden, which is connected to Franklin Av (2)(3)(4)%26lt;5%26gt;.
Take Manhattan-bound (2)(3), make express stop in Manhattan to Times Sq-42nd St while late night (2) makes all stops.
