What to pack for a mission trip to Panama?

I have no idea what to pack, we're going to be there for a week, in the summer.

Lol, I know it's a bit early, but I'm a planner.|||Isn't the group you are going with going to give you a list of appropriate clothing and other items to bring/ that is their responsibility.|||Part of my answer is that you need to consider these questions:

Where are you going to be in Panama? (The western highlands will be cooler.)

What kind of mission trip will you be doing? (Construction, Medical, evangelistic)

What areas will you be working in? ((urban, rural, jungle)

Your question is simply too vague to be answered effectively. Whoever is hosting you when you go down there should provide you with a suggested list.

Whatever you do. Take some extra sets of clothing. You know, that old stuff that you don't really wear much anymore -- and plan to leave it behind or give it away after you have worn it. Make sure to take sunscreen and mosquito repellent. Take some small gifts for the families that host you if you are not staying in hotels. And take a good copy of a bilingual bible that you might leave behind as well. The best, in my opinion is the NASB/LBLA because they are both literal translations that read side by side very easily for anyone trying to learn either English or Spanish. Otherwise, the rest of your accoutrement will depend on those where and what questions I asked before.
