Is there a free online road trip planner than takes different inputs to personalize your trip?

My dad used to use a program to plan trips that let him input the vehicle's mpg, start point, destination, how many hours a day we wanted to drive, speed we would drive, etc. It would then tell us how many gallons of gas would be needed for the trip (making it easier for us to calculate fuel costs) and cities to plan on stopping at each night (making it easier to book hotels).

Does anyone know of any online programs that will do that for free?|||AAA does this if you are a member. I never did like their maps, though, so I quit using them.

See Google maps.

You can do all this yourself. Mileage of your car per gallon, etc. Not aware of an online site that does your research for you. Be aware that you will average 50 miles per hour, regardless of how fast or slow you drive. You do have to stop for necessities. You will get lost sometime.|||Heres a couple of websites
